SnowDrip uses a moisture reactive outer shell. The jacket is a clean matte black when it is dry. The moment snow lands on it and melts, the reactive layer in the fabric reveals colour in exactly that spot. More snow, more colour. It builds across the whole jacket as the day goes on.

No. The reaction is triggered by moisture, not cold. Snow, sleet, rain and even water from a bottle will all set it off. Wet, heavy snow reacts fastest. Very dry cold powder can take a little longer because it needs to melt on contact first.

Yes. As the jacket dries it returns to plain black, so the reveal happens again every single time you head out. Nothing to charge, nothing to reset. It is the fabric itself doing the work.

SnowDrip is a relaxed technical fit with room for a base layer and a mid layer underneath. If you are between sizes, size up. If you like a cleaner fit over a thin layer, take your usual size. Full measurements are in the Size and Fit tab above.

Yes. It is a fully waterproof shell with sealed zips, an adjustable hood, elastic cuffs and an elastic hem to keep wind and snow out. It is built as a shell, so it layers over your usual mid layer and keeps you dry on wet, windy mountain days.
How do I wash it?
How do I wash it?
Hand wash cold, hang dry. Do not tumble dry, bleach, iron or dry clean. The reactive layer is built into the fabric and is rated for well over fifty washes when cared for this way. It will be black again once it is dry.
